You get your Pokemon in emerald in a trade and they will loaf around ignore you and take naps why and how can you stop this?

Most likely the Pokemon is over the limit of your gym badge. I think if you get it to like you it will obey you. That's how I think it happened with me.

You need to get a better gym badge for it to work. Like the earth badge (Or the last badge) is lvl 70+.
