Torrent files are not the actual material you want to download. They are a sort of "business card" that instructs a BitTorrent client on where to download the actual file.
Torrent files are downloaded onto your computer using a client application to manage the files. Some popular applications are uTorrent, Deluge and Vuge.
Games don't use torrent files.
Information about torrent files can be gathered at many sites where torrent files are shared. These include The Pirate Bay, Bit Torrent, uTorrent, and informational sites like Torrent Freak.
Yes. In fact, since most handheld devices do not have BitTorrent clients, downloading them on a computer would be the only way to download them through a torrent.
I'm pretty sure you are confused, torrent files are tiny files which only contain a description of other files. You'll need to open the torrent files with a client such as uTorrent.
a search engine for torrent files.
Add the files where your torrent saves files and then it will reseed again.
The only reason torrent files work is because people seed them. The files you download with torrent software actually come straight from other peoples' computers, not from an internet server. When people seed a torrent, they allow the files to be copied from their computer onto the computers that they're seeding to. I've never seen a torrent client that didn't automatically seed. As long as you don't delete the files downloaded, you keep the torrent client open and you don't tell the client not to seed, you will automatically seed. It's considered internet etiquette to seed, as a thanks to the uploader of the torrent file, and so others can get good speeds when downloading.
Yes you can, the torrent is a separate file from the files you download through it.
A torrent is just a "pathway" to the files. You will need a torrent software to download them like "uTorrent". After it's downloaded you can choose to share your files through that torrent, keep it or deleting it whit out harming the files downloaded.
Before answering your question, I would like to make a clear explanation about what is a torrent file. A torrent file is a file which is used by Bit torrent-a program used to download the files from the torrent server. So if you want to delete your torrent files (E.g. Build_your_mind.torrent) and keep your movie( the file downloaded from the torrent server), you can follow these easy step:First, press Windows Key+F( or you can go to"My Computer"then click on "Search" ).In the "All or part of the file name", type "*.torrent" (without quote) and in the "Look in", choose "My Computer" and then click "Search"button.Second, wait for the result of your search. After the result is displayed, you can select the torrent file that you want to delete then press "delete"key on your keyboard.Hope it can help you!
