You put a new hard drive in your computer and now it says no os installed and you tried to install windows xp and it says there is not enough memory on your harddrive can someone please help?

It sounds like you make the new hard drive the "primary" rather than the "secondary" drive. Check the drive jumpers (tiny little pieces of plastic that connect two wires) and make sure that your original drive is set to "Primary" and the second disk is set to "slave" or "secondary". The jumper positions are generally available on the web site for the drive manufacturer, such as Seagate or Western Digital. You will need to know the model numbers of the drives.
