One possibility is that the air conditioning is on. My 2001 Elantra automatically starts the air when the fan setting is put to defrost. I have to remember to turn it off.

What would be the cause of your heat only working sometimes in your Hyundai Elantra when you can hear the switch clicking when you turn it?

What is possible problem with AC not blowing at all Yesterday it was blowing cold and working on high only which you knew the blower motor and resistor were needing replaced Today nothing at all?

If the AC was working well yesterday and blowing cold, however, today their is no air being released, the AC could have been too high for two long. The AC tends to freeze up and has to be turned off for a while until thawed. If the blower motor and resistor needed replacement they may have officially blown and need replacement in order to work at all.

What would cause the air bag light to come on and headlights to stop working at the same time in 2002 Hyundai Elantra?

I Had the same problem. Found answer here:http://www.2carpros.com/topics/airbag.htm Basically, it is the voltage regulator causing a voltage spike and blowing the lights and causing an airbag issue. I haven't yet fixed the problem but seems to make sense with the symptoms I had (bright flicker before lights went out).
