I had a similar problem like this, first you need to test to make sure you ABS fuse is working (getting power). Second make sure all of your pads are working.
Mine ended up being the rear brakes, I had a small leak in the brake lines that was causing a pressure difference in the Master Brake Booster. the ABS then automatically disengages and the light will come on and stay on.
Bring to a shop that has an ABS scanner to determine the problem
If this car was special ordered with ABS it included fron and rear control.

Something has failed in the ABS system and the ABS is not working. As long as there is an ABS problem the vehicle could lock up the brakes and slide in an emergency.
problem with the abs, get it fixed
if the abs light is on then its means you have an issue with your anti lock brake system
brake and abs light on , on 1994 Chevy Cavalier Z24
The easiest way to reset the ABS light in a 1992 Chevy Lumina is to disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes. When it is reconnected, the light should be reset.
thats easy you just ....... get a life thats easy you just ....... get a life
Pull the fuse, but the abs light will remain on.
If your Chevy Venture ABS light is on, that means that there is some type of problem with your anti-lock brakes. For the light to turn off, you will need to see a mechanic and have the problem looked at.
The abs light is on because you have a problem with the abs system. The light will remain on until the problem is fixed. Once the problem is fixed the light will reset itself.
