Yes, definitely. A systolic of 160 is too high but not extreme, but a diastolic of 120 is much too high. You should see a doctor very soon. You didn't give your age. Though blood pressure values are supposed to be the same for all ages, in fact blood pressure usually increases in the elderly and must be controlled with medicine.

Yes, that is a high blood pressure that should get treated. Hypertension is normally considered to be about 140/90 -- you're a little over that edge. If you feel poorly, and that's your BP now, head for an ER fast. If your doc took your BP 4 days ago and you feel just fine right now, you probably are just fine, but you still should get it taken care of, if not in the ER, at least at your doc's office. And soon. Don't worry -- you won't drop dead in the next 10 minutes from this (unless you really DO feel awful -- see above about the ER), but over time, it can do some serious, possibly irreversible damage, if you don't do anything about it. Typically, this is easily controllable with meds, diet and excercise. You need to talk to your doc about getting that going.

Although high blood pressure is a very important contributing problem or risk factor for heart attacks, there is no specific blood pressure that is required to have a heart attack. If there is a blockage of a blood vessel that supplies blood to the heart, due to either a fatty deposit of cholesterol, or a blood clot, a heart attack will result.

Blood pressure of 100 over 70 for 73 year old male?

Current belief is that blood pressure levels should be the same for adults of all ages. Ideally blood pressure should be no higher than 120 over 80. But, it's not ordinarily considered treatably high until it is above 140 over 90. If 160 over 100 it's serious and action should be taken soon. Above 180 over 110 is considered an emergency condition.

Why pregnant women have hypertension?

They are holding onto higher blood volume and that changes the physics of the body. The higher volume affects the heart by making it work harder. Hypertension with the bottom number over 100 and the top number over 180 is not desirable in pregnancy and if it goes too high they will administer medication to decrease the blood pressure.
