When an animal gets kidney failure, it is almost impossible to remove it. After all, you don't get animals having organ transplants.

Some medications work better than others though, and it isn't anyones fault if their vet prescribed one that was not the best for their cat.

I do recommend looking at a website called felinekidneybreakthroughs.com, I have read it, and found it really interesting despite my cat being young and not having kidney failure.

Many cats get kidney failure anyway, it is quite common.

The bottom line is, you may only have been able to extend the pets life by a few months-a year if that. In the end, the disease always seems to win with animals. Its how it is, sad but true.
