Biarritz is by far one of the most welcoming towns on the French coast for tourism, this small whaling village turned to tourism over a century ago and has gone from strength to strength ever since. Biarritz is famous for its surf, dance and business. It is one of the few places where you see businessmen and surfers living the same realm.

The surf in Biarritz has been made famous from the word Surfing tour and often sees famous surfers perform here both in practice and competition. On the big surfing events the population of the Biarritz beach swells to a massive spectator crowd and the cafes and bars become flooded with famous surfers from around the world.

Not surprisingly the night life is also that of an exotic nature with different cosmopolitan bars and night clubs. All in all this welcoming town on the western coast of France is a great all round sun and surf holiday destination for anyone.
