I am a senior in a coordinated program in dietetics. There are two types of programs, CADE which includes the internship), and didactic (you need to find your own internship). The problem with didactic is that there are very few internships, and people compete nationally for them . Courses include Bio, physiology, microbiology, chem, organic chem, bio chem, statistics, along with all the basic college courses. The dietetics courses involve community nutrition (teaching classes at schools, nursing homes etc.) Medical nutrition therapy (in hospitals), and food service. I will say it is definitely far from easy, but if it is what you want to do then it will just work for you. Good Luck!!!
