This steak will have no trace of pink or red inside. It will be brown throughout, and will be very firm to the touch. If you hate the thought of eating pink meat, this is the one for you.
Not all restaurants will follow these rules, but a good steak restaurant should. If they bring you something you don’t like, ask them to start again, specifying what you are expecting the steak to be like. Tell them you want a trace of pink, or you like it kicking, and you might get something more to your taste.
