Once found, attempt to unlatch the lock. It is possible that this will take several tries, as it must be done by touch rather than site. After the lock is unlatched, push the door open.
If the interlock and latch will not open easily, do not try to force it. This may damage the door. When this occurs, it may be time to consult with a professional to unjam the washing machine door. If the door continuously becomes jammed, it may be time to call a professional as well.
