Weight of the gold or the p stands for the maker
K.P.G. = Kilometers Per Gallon it means plumb gold
What does 753 on a gold watch mean
.
I have checked everywhere for 325 gold .. It is just another name for plated you will always find a p in a circle near or opposite the 325 mark, I have come across it many times and using test acid it shows as only plated gold normally from Italy or America...
14kt means that the ring is 14 karat gold. The p might mean that the ring is only plated in gold.
Plumb.. TRUE GOLD
"P" stands for point. As in Jacketed Hollow Point.
Its 37.5% pure gold which basically means you have a 9 carat gold bracelet
Are you sure it is a "d" and not a "p"? Because a "p" would mean that it was "plumb" gold, or in other words, the gold it contained was exactly the carat listed. IE: 14K does not have to contain 14carats of gold, only a certain percentage has to be 14%.
Hi... when you see P 10k or 10k P on a piece of jewelry, it means that the purity of the gold is guaranteed to be 10k or better. The "P" means PLUMB it is a higher purity of gold making it a better quality. "P" does not mean any kind of plating. Gold plating marks are as follows: GP, RGP, HGE, GF.
