Dog food is not an ideal food for humans. If that's ALL you eat, eventually you will probably develop some deficiency diseases. However, there's nothing in dog food that's actually toxic to humans, so nothing bad will happen if you accidentally eat a small amount.

One caveat: dog food is not as stringently regulated and examined as food intended for human consumption is. If you remember a couple of years back it was discovered that some kinds of dog food were contaminated with melamine, which is toxic to humans (and also to dogs), but there's nothing that's SUPPOSED to be in dog food that's toxic to humans.
