If it's louder when the vehicle goes around a sharp corner, I'd be suspicious of CV joints. If the clicking gets faster as you speed up you might also check your tires. I could not figured out why my vehicle was making that noise til i realized it was a nail in my tire clicking on the street every time it went around.
If your car makes a clicking sound when you try to start it, try to jump the battery. If that starts it, check the electrical system and if it was the battery, replace the battery. If jumping it does not fix it, have a mechanic look at it.
try checking your fuses and fuse-able links
The clicking noise you can hear is the starter solenoid clicking into place. If the starter motor does not turn the engine immediately, it is probably the best place to look. it sounds like the starter motor is faulty.
Try disconnecting the battery for at least 10 minutes and then reconnect and try. Check the starter, it don't all the time go right out it will crank but not turn the engine over when it start to go bad, then you you will hear the clicking latter on.
Yes, the clicking is the starter, but there's probably nothing wrong with it. Your battery doesn't have enough juice to turn the starter motor (draws lots of current), but still has enough to turn on the lights and accessories. Try jump starting it or trickle charge the battery.
A clicking sound when you try to start the car is a dead battery. It may be that the alternator is not charging it properly.

AnswerIs the clicking sound from the engine? Try to check the oil.If this is happening when you try to start the car, it is most likely a weak battery or a bad starter. Oil would not have anything to do with this problem
Possible battery, starter or connection problem.
That could be the alternator or the battery. Try jump starting your car with another car's battery. If it still does not start, it is probably the alternator. If it starts, your battery is dead.
If it does it when you turn the key and the engine does not turn over, it is a weak battery or possibly a loose connection on the cables.
you'll hear a constant clicking noise with no motor rotation, or you'll hear nothing at all
starter part were the wires are.
batterry died , loose connections on battery posts or start solnoid
Clicking usually is a sign of a bad battery or starter
The clicking sound is probably your solenoid trying to work. Your battery has just enough electricity to make the solenoid operate but not enough electricity to make the starter work. You probably have an almost dead battery.
