5. Do your research, check these places out and find a studio that you are comfortable with, talk to the piercer and discuss you wishes. If at any time you feel like you are being ignored or rushed leave, find somewhere else. Good shops will be busy, but they will also want you to book your appointment, this way they have their full attention on you not everyone else who is asking questions (that's a good thing).

I had my belly button peirced when i was 13 and im 14 now. It depends what shop you go to, to have it done as alot of shops near me said you had to be 16 but some shops will do it at the earlist of 13 as long as you have your parents/guardians with you.

Wisconsin has a weird law when it comes to piercings..

you have to be 16 with a parent to get anything besides your ears pierced.

nose, eyebrow,tongue, belly button ect.

but without your parents you have to be 18.
