How old is Kenmore sewing machine model 158 19410?

The Kenmore model 158 19410 was made in 1975-1976. I bought mine new then and have never had any problems with it whatsoever - have never needed to take it anywhere for repairs or adjustments in all those years. I just keep it clean and make sure and oil it at least once a year and that's all it ever needs. I use it quite regularly and it is my favorite machine of all. They really don't make them like that any more. If you have one, hang on to it and enjoy sewing on a true quality machine!

This website: http://www.searsarchives.com/history/files/sewing_id.pdf says that it was prduced in 1963-1965. But I do not know how much it is worth.

I have a sewing machine model number 148.392 with original accessories complete with tools, tin case, instruction booklet, warrenty guide, and receipt dated back in 1959 in the amount of $128.00. I don't know if this helps, but i wish I new the value of these today.

I don't know the date of manufacture, but I bought mine new in early 1977. It has a 25th anniversary sticker on it.

I just acquired my grandmothers Kenmore sewing machine model 158.19400 with the receipt still intact being purchased in 1969.
