You have to max out freindship with it. Give it proteins, berrys,poffins, give them massages and spa treatments, level it up, keep it in your party, give it a soothe bell ect..Dont give it herbs,faint it,send it to daycare for awlile,keep it in PC boxes to long,ect.

Munchlax evolves into Snorlax when it has enough happiness and levels up. my advice is keep giving it berries and poffins because munchlax can't go in amity square
