They are collapse (gravitational disturbance), condensation of matter, and accretion of major bodies. Smaller bodies may continue to accrete, break up, or be absorbed by larger masses.

The 6 stages of formation are:

1. Solar Nebula

2. Planetesimals Form

3. Planetesimals accrete into protoplanets

4. Terrestrial Planets form

5. Gas Giants Form

6. Formation or organization of smaller objects (moons, asteroids, comets)

In stage 1, a nebula is compressed by gravitational disturbances, which concentrates mass in some areas. Nearby dust and gas is drawn in and begins to collect into a spinning disk shape. Enough mass collects to compress hydrogen nuclei and initiate fusion.

In stages 2 and 3, small grains of matter accrete within the disk to form planetesimals, and then larger protoplanets. Some will collide and merge, others will be broken up.

In stage 4 to 6, planets clear out their orbits. Material moving too quickly near the edge cannot be drawn in closer, but can coalesce into objects (ice planets and comets).

What causes solar nebula to begin to form a solar system?

Gravity.

What was the Hypothesis on how the solar system was formed?

The hypothesis on how the solar system was formed is known as the solar nebula theory. This theory posits that the solar system formed from a massive, rotating cloud of gas and dust called the solar nebula. Over time, gravity caused the material in the nebula to clump together, eventually forming the sun and the planets.

All of the celestial bodies of the solar system were said to have formed from?

The celestial bodies of our solar system are believed to have formed from the solar nebula. The solar nebula was a giant cloud of dust and gas that was left behind after the formation of the sun.

What is the difference between a planetary nebula and a nebula that formed the solar system?

The solar system did not form from a nebula at all. Our solar system formed from a rotating cloud of gas and dust, our sun formed at the center and planets formed from the surrounding matter. when our sun became large enough to support nuclear fusion, the solar wind created blew away most of the gases present. A planetary nebula is formed after a star runs out of fuel (Helium) and collapses inward on itself due to the massive amount of gravity and the now unstable balance of the star. the pressure then becomes so great that the gases that had been pulled inward explode outward at an incredible speed. How was your solar system produced?

The solar system was produced by solar nebula. The nebula was disrupted by an unknow substance in the air.

What is the difference in between nebula and solar nebula?

A solar nebula is related to the formation of our Solar System, any other nebula is just a nebula.

Which did not occur during the collapse of the solar nebula?

One of the events that did not occur during the collapse of the solar nebula was the formation of the first stars in the universe. Instead, the collapse of the solar nebula led to the formation of our solar system.

What is two nebula stars in your solar system?

There is no such thing as a nebula star.

Are nebulaes in the solar system?

No. A nebula is generally much larger than a solar system. We believe that our sun and solar system came to be when a nebula collapsed under the influence of gravity, and the gas of the nebula became the Sun and our planets - and everything else.
