We can observe nearby stars moving forward and back against the background of distant stars (parallax). Scientific analysis coupled with observations show that the Earth is held in its orbit by the gravitational force of the Sun which is far more massive than the Earth.
You can't. It is all a matter of frame of reference. If you accept the frame of reference of a sun based system then gravity follows an inverse square law very very exactly. If you chose an Earth centered frame of reference then gravity follows a system of epicycles and not very well.
If you accept the fact that the simplest system is probably the right one, then you are a sun-centered person.
we can prove that booth earth and moon revolves around the sun through the different moon phases.
its obvious
Seasons, Magnetic Interference, Gravity and GPS, or parallax of nearby stars
not sure scientists can calculate the gravity
Well the orbit?
The sun is in the center of the solar system. The Earth orbits the sun, and the moon orbits the Earth.
we know that the star that earth orbits is the sun the sun is the biggest star ever
The moon does orbit the Sun. Locked in orbit around the Earth, as the Earth orbits the Sun, the moon orbits the Sun.
The Moon actually orbits the Earth, which it does in 28 days, but if you consider the Earth and the Moon as a double system, then the Moon orbits the Sun once a year, just as the Earth does. The Moon is much closer to the Earth than the Earth and the Moon are to the Sun.
No it does notNo we are not the only planet in the galaxy we have 8 other planets to. if the earth and the moon was that close to the sun we wouldn't be living.
No. Earth is a planet. It orbits the sun, which is a star.
The Earth orbits around the Sun, while the moon orbits around the Earth.
The Sun as it's the only body in the Solar System that is undergoing nuclear fusion.
C.
Venus orbits the sun.
The Moon orbits the Earth, the Earth orbits the Sun
A satellite is an object which orbits a larger body. For example, the Moon orbits the Earth, and the Earth orbits the Sun. The Moon is a satellite of the Earth and the Earth is a Satellite of the Sun.
Earth. It orbits the sun and the moon orbits it
