Memorex MVD2016BLK Progressive Scan DVD Player, Black (Electronics)
suddenly began having problems - stuttering, claiming 'wrong disc', stuck in standby and unable to get it unstuck....was torn between throwing it out the window and buying a special cleaning disc. Instead went to the Memorex site and found the reset procedure, which WORKED! Try this for your frozen MVD2016. Reset procedure:
1 Press and hold power button
2 Unplug unit from electrical source without releasing the button
3 Keep holding button for 60 seconds
4 release and reconnect.
5.watch your DVD.
You don't need to fix it if it is not broken!
you don't
Who knows? What about the DVD player is broken? BE MORE SPECIFIC WHEN ASKING QUESTIONS!!!

Sometimes, the DVD player is dirty inside and you can purchase a DVD player cleaner, which is a DVD that cleans the parts inside the player. Or if that's not the case, it could be that the DVD needs to be replaced with a brand-new one.
You cant fix it, you have to buy a new one, or breeth on it, wipe it o your shirt and try that. You might also need a new DVD player
bring it back to the store ;)
If the DVD player in your vehicle is not powering on the wiring may have come loose. Take your trailblazer to a repair man that can fix DVD players and other electronics.
my Memorex Karaoke machine works but it starts to spin the cds then it stops spining
We get the E27:00 error a couple of times a year on our 5 DVD changer. It's annoying as you can't even get the DVD player to open the tray. Usually this is an 'easy' fix. The error usually means one of our DVDs has slipped out of the changer tray and is free floating inside of the player. Unplug the DVD, take the case off, remove the offending DVD, put case back on, reconnect and voila. That takes care of it for us. Hope this helps/JRW
put some new battters in it or get a new one :) sorry not much you can do. duck tape it
This is likely caused by Macrovision copy protection. A Macrovision descrambler connected between the DVD player and recording VCR should fix the problem.
disconnect the orange wire don't need it that should fix it
