I happened to be at that event and I was 14 years old at the time and got to see everything cuz it was exactly right next to me where it happened. All I can say was Evel had it coming to him. He was a complete a****** that day. Evel got on the microphone and all he was doing was putting them down. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area Evel Knievel was an idol. It was a different time and you looked up the people that would take a chance. Or live a different lifestyle than the norm. After seeing that I no longer looked up to him. Evel Knievel was a daredevil but he was an a****** just like the rest of the norm 99% motorcycle population. Long live the one percenter.

What else can I help you with?
