I have 11 piercings, 4 on each ear, nose, belly and tongue.
Belly was the least painful, tongue, nose then ears.
I only had a bit of the fluid to numb my mouth so I could still feel the needle going through, it wasn't painful it was uncomfortable though.
Your tongue is thicker so more for the liquid to numb but your belly button is thin and numbs really quickly.
Tongue piercing hurts more, but a belly bar takes 4 monthes to a year to heal. GL!
Tongue! The piercing itself does not hurt at all, I had mine done on my break between two of my HSC exams :) The only bit I found painful was the swelling within the first 5-10 days. Eating is a little hard, so I stuck to yoghurts and pureed fruit and veggies until the swelling went down by about half. DONT TRY AND EAT SOLIDS STRAIGHT AFTER HAVING YOUR TONGE DONE!
Straight after the piercing though, you may feel a little bit of discomfort swallowing but that goes away after a few hours.
Pain killers. The worked amazingly in helping to relieve pain and reduce swelling. Although they might be hard to swallow to start with, just wash your hands, get the tablet and place it as far back on your tounge, take a sip of water and swallow.
Tongue piercings are great and well worth it :) I love mine.
It would depend on the person getting the piercing and witch part is most sensitive.
Most likely a tongue piercing would hurt worse.
I have both done, honestly belly button piercing doesn't hurt...until it gets infected and you can barely move. Tongue doesn't hurt, it's more uncomfortable than anything, I could feel it through the middle, plus it's hidden away.
You could, but it's not a good idea.
Belly button piercing hurts more. I have them both & that's the one that hurt the most for me.
Tongue piercings do not hurt much. Even a tongue web or double tonuge which seem to have a higher pain level, do not hurt too much. As ar as I 've experienced, an ear piercing hurts more than any other piercing. I am plannig to have a conch piercing and just read at site rightpiercing dot com that it hurts too much if I plan to have an inner and outer conch at the same time. Emily
The nose typically hurts more because the piercing goes through the cartilage. The belly button piercing is just through a flab of skin.
A lip piercing hurts more than a belly button piercing, but neither hurt much at all. Getting your lip feels like you accidentally bit it haha and you can barely feel a belly button piercing.
Your belly button piercing hurts more then a normal ear piercing your belly button piercing is more sensitive then a ear. :]
Industrial for sure. Tongue piercings dont hurt that much at all.
a cartalige piercing hurts ALOT more because your piercing a bone
The initial piercing is not painful. The only thing felt is the pressure of needle. The clamp on the tongue hurts more than the actual piercing. The healing after is the painful part. The tongue will swell, and the muscle will be sore. As the tongue adjust to the metal and heals itself from the initial tear and swelling, the pain will subside, generally over a few days following the piercing. By experience, a piercing in the upper cartilage hurts more than a piercing in the tongue.
It really depends on where your getting the ear piercing. Tragus, industrial or uncommon ear piercings hurt more then the belly button. If were talking normal lobe piercings, belly hurts more :)
Yes, but it's not easy, and the bigger the gauge, the more it hurts to stretch.
To be honest, to my amazement, my belly hurt more but it depends on the person that if they are nervous, happy sad, on their period etc.
It hurts way more! Industrial piercing is not as straightforward as traditional piercing, it is considerably more painful; The piercing, can take between three months to one year to fully heal.
