I got my bellybutton pierced with a ring as opose to a bar not by choice.. will is make a difference when I go to change the earring and I choose to wear a bar?

no. i got mine pierced with a hoop and then like three weeks after i got it i put a bar in it and it was fine. it doesnt really make a difference as long as its meant for you belly button

It is a good chance this is a piercing gun piercing and that is why you always have grief with it, it isn't pierced correctly and thus always reopens when you change the jewellery. I could go into detailed explanations but it come down to the cartilage tissue not being incised enough to allow for proper healing. Go see a professional body piercer and get it fixed.

well, when i got my ears pierced, you had to take them out after 2 weeks and change them. it was SO hard to get out, but i had to hold on to someones hand (for comfort) and bite a hot towel (just in case your scared) and have some one pull the stuff apart, GENTLY and then BOOOMM its out. if that dosnt help, sorry i couldnt help you

The more times you change it be for it is heal the more chance of it getting infected. The best thing to do is to not change it unless it is necessary like if you did it your self. and you put a ear ring in it. Then the best thing to do is change the earring for a nose ring.
