i got my navel pierced like 2 and a half years ago now and thay said you sould wait up to 6 monthes or compleatly healed that includes no tanning cause it can cause infection, burning and iratation to the skin you also souldnt eat fatning foods like pork or fried food that can cause infection but for swimming it sould be 6 monthes. Six months. That is the safest amount of time to wait. You might be able to get away with 5 or 4, but be safe and stick to six and give it time to heal properly. Navel piercings are very easily infected.
