Body piercing as it is known today has no roots in symbolic significance. Today it is done solely for adorment and nothing else. Anyone trying to say anything to the contrary is usually going to be a contrived and psuedo-intellectual trying to say that this piercing is for this, and that for that. It is a way to stay tied to our primitive origins and to keep a good grounding in the physical and a way to learn and tolerate physical pain, which makes you more adept to handle internal pain, but this is usually not always the case.
Body Piercings do not "mean" any one thing, they are simply piercings. Adorning the body with piercings is as unique as the person wearing them. There is no deeper meaning to any one specific piercing.
It depends. I have a third eye microdermal, and I consider it to be a window to open up my spirituality and creativity. Most people just do it to make themselves look cooler now-a-days.

No. They have different sized different for different sized nipples.
Theres so many places to get piercings that there really isn't a definite answer. Also depends on if you mean permanent piercings or play piercings.
I think you mean female genital piercings. I'll post the link to the BME Wiki page about it :)
It doesnt mean anything.
Just means that you have two ear piercings in the same area. It usually means either two ear lobe piercings or two cartilage piercings.
They are typically seen as being really trashy.
do you mean body piercings? If so, as many as you can sit for. Some people have gotten hundreds of piercings in one day.
Not sure what you're asking. Dermal piercings can be put in the same area as a standard belly piercing would. If you're asking if surface piercings are just like belly piercings, no. Technically, navel piercings are surface piercings. other surface piercings require a different shape bar or dermals if you use them. They're typically deeper too.
Not necessarily. They are two different metals with different properties.
The truth is there is no difference. Just different people calling it different names.
