yes only one sperm cell penetrates a egg but on rare ocasions two will but that's like a one in a million chance..

one, the sperm is either male or female which ever one hits the egg first is the gender of your baby, the others that didnt make it are killed.

Only one sperm cell can penetrate the egg. As soon as one sperm cell enters the egg, its membrane changes and no more sperm cells can get through.
