It's a good idea to try to get a parrot to play the kind of games that you, as a human, enjoy, because eventually every bored parrot comes up with their own games that can be quite annoying ("scream for attention" is a common one). Parrot Fetch is good exercise for the human. Parrot Fetch is not like the fetch you play with a dog. In Parrot Fetch, the parrot throws a toy on the floor or across the room and waits for the human friend to retrieve it. Most parrots teach their humans to play this game very quickly. Parrots may enjoy some of the same sorts of games you might play with a baby or toddler (their brains are somewhat similar to a human 3-year old). Most parrots, unless they are very shy or nervous, like Peek-a-Boo. Some parrots like to play Tug-o-War with a toy. Parrots often like to help humans with whatever they are doing. If you are on the computer, they may find that they like the clicky sound of the keyboard and peck at the keys.

Whoever answered, "they bobb their head" does not even know how to spell! Why would you edit good information? They NEED to have different size perches for their talons. The perches should be various sizes (for gripping), not too small, and be textured (tree branches, rough paper, etc.). They also REQUIRE play things, such as bells, swings, chew ropes, and an assortment of items found at your local pet store. The reason they like to perch on your shoulder is because they are social animals. Keep their wings clipped by a professional and they will move about on their own. Head bobbing is NOT an exersize, it is a form of communication between other parrots, and/or their owners. They are entertaining, and smart birds. Allow people the correct information. Putting up silly info is childish!

Well, they probably don't do much at first, they will be sleeping for the first few days of their life, then they will start to do parrot stuff

like playing with stuff like bells, mirrors etc.

They like playing with toys. I give my parrot little cat toys that are a plastic ball with a bell inside or a water bottle cap or Legos and then I buy some parrot toys from the pet store. She will play for hours. Hope this helps:)
