is saliva more acidic than blood?

Saliva is alkaline in nature with a pH of 7.4. The blood in our body is alkaline, just like our saliva when we are new-born babies and the pH decreases as we age. So, saliva, for the major part of our life, is not more acidic than blood. But, you know, it depends upon the individual as the saliva and blood pH levels may vary from person to person.
