Yes, Titanium is actually 60% denser and 200% (2x) stronger than Aluminum. Titanium has the highest strength-weight ratio. This means that 1 kilogram of Titanium is stronger than Tungsten (one of the heaviest metals with the highest melting point) and tin (a lighter and weaker metal) each of 1 kilogram of weight.

I suppose it depends on your definition of "strong".

Are we talking strength to weight or raw tensile strength

The first is probably some grade of titanium as its very light for its strength, however the metal with the highest tensile strength is some grade of steel with a rating of 5205 Megapascal's.

Its also worth considering that "strength can also be considered differently to "hardness". Ie Diamond (not a metal) Is VERY hard, but brittle (easily chipped/shattered) so does that class it as "strong". Equally, some metals can be brittle. Certain heat treated grades of steel can become compromised by brittleness. So whilst being hard, under shock they break.

Generally, the harder the metal, the more brittle. However there techniques to get around this.

So like i said, its very subjective to what you thing is "strong".

Yes, titanium is stronger than iron and it has higher melting and boiling points than iron.

titanium is not stonger than stainless, however stainless is a tad bit harder because it is a three way alloy of steel, carbon, and chromium.
