Relationship between chemistry and physics

Chemistry is the science of chemical bonds between atoms.

Physics has two parts: the science of mechanical movement, called classical physics (this is what Newton, Galileo, Archimedes etc. all studied); and the science of energy, atoms and particles.

Chemistry could easily be considered a subset of physics.

Well Physics is the ultimate science but it has to be based on maths to be understood easily. It is not that it can not be understood without maths but mathematics makes it easy.

For example if i say that gravitational force between two masses is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them and otherwise in maths we can write directly proportional to m1m2 and inversely to r^2. Its not possible to write here with the symbols but the point i m trying to make is that its easy to write and represent it with maths but there is no question physics is the ultimate science and maths is just a tool to make it easy.

I'm not a pro in this but i'd say physics is to do with how everything works, what actually causes things, and Biology is lots of little examples of this, such as energy is released from oxygen and sugar reacting in the cytoplasm to energise the cell, physics is more WHY this happens and chemistry links to this as it is all to do with what they react to be and what bonds and excetera they form, and a lo of different things... too long to list. its hard to define a relationship between the 3, but as an a level student this would be my undefining answer

Physics and Chemistry are alike and different in many ways.

Physics is different than chemistry because, it studies motion, matter, energy and force. Also it is the oldest field in science. (Closely linked with Astronomy.)

Chemistry is different than physics because, it studies chemical processes, and how atoms and molecules behave. (Closely linked with biology.)

The two are the same because they study matter, use mathematics, and have many sub-fields (Ex. Physics~ Theoretical Physics, Quantum Physics/ Mechanics, and Experimental Physics... Chemistry~ Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Chemical Engineering)
