Make sure that they are connected correctly to the computer and make sure that they are plugged in to the right compartment. Check and see if they are plugged into the outlet(that you plug everything in like lamps and phones and vaccums and what not)... And you should probably turn them on :)

If you have multiple speakers, it may be the case that the sound waves they emit are cancelling each other out (this is known as destructive interference). Try varying their position, or where you are sitting.

∙ 12y agoOn the Taskbar on the bottom of your computer screen to the right, are small buttons for network connection, etc. One of those buttons is a small silver speaker and it might have a red circle with a line through it. Double click on that and on the very left a little towards the top says Master Volume. Adjust.
If you don't have that button follow these steps:
First go to the start button. In the gray section on the right there is a button that says control panel. Click on it. The second row to the bottom, it has a silver speaker that says sounds and audio devices. Double click on that. Click unmute or turn up the volume.

∙ 9y agoThey can be several problems: 1. The connector is damaged. 2. The cable has no continuity. 3. The speakers are broken. 4. Your player is not sending the audio signal, maybe this muted.
