There is no Narrate feature on Windows Live Movie Maker (which I presume you are using in Windows 7). You will have to use your Windows Sound Recorder to narrate or record voice on. Then import the file into Windows Live Movie Maker.
In the 2.6 version of the program (the Vista version), there is a Narrate feature available. But, even that feature is rather persnickety. I always use sound recorder for voice.
You can find your own Windows Sound Recorder under:
> Start > All Programs > Accessories > Sound Recorder
I had the same problem. Make sure you go into options and under webcam select the correct audio recording device.
use you camera to record you file. Then, go into Windows Movie maker, click file, select import into collection. Import your video file into Windows Movie Maker, drag it onto the timeline, near the bottom, click export to movie, or something like that, and your movie should be ready.
Import the picture add it to the story board and then Import Audio and do the same.
Sorry. But, you can't do that in Windows Live Movie Maker.
Windows Live Movie Maker is a stripped-down version of Vista Movie Maker (v2.6) and is limited in features and functionality.
There is only one audio track in Movie Maker. You would have to use it for the voice-over.
Windows Live Movie Maker is only for video editing. You have to record your own video with a webcam or a video camera. Once you record your video, you import it into the editing software.
If you have windows movie maker you can make a movie just get a video camera record it and put it on windows movie maker and edit it.If you have a youtube account you can post the movie.
help me to record videos from my webcamera inspiron laptop
You can record on Windows Movie Maker by using the Narration feature. (Note: There is no Narration feature in the Windows Live Movie Maker version).
it works for any camera just save your videos/pictures on to your documents and just upload to the WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER, it is easy.
No. Windows Movie Maker is a video editing program not a camera.
You can do this on Windows Movie Maker. Go to Google and type 'Windows Movie Maker download' to get it. It is free, but you need a video camera.
You can capture video from your Digital Video Camera in Vista WMM (windows movie maker) by clicking File, Import from Digital Camera.
No narration feature in Windows Live Movie Maker. Sorry.
You must record the video in the desired upload size, then import it into windows live movie maker.
No. Windows Movie Maker records in .wma (Windows Media Audio) format. However, you can import and edit .wav files in the program.
You can't connect to your digital video camera with Windows Movie Maker. You can only connect/find a camcorder with the program. That doesn't mean you can't use your digital camera video though. You may need to convert it to a format compatible with Windows Movie Maker though before importing it into the program.
