Well, sounds like your PC bit the bullet. It could be your connection from your PC to monitor is jacked, video card malfunction, or your CRT is broken. Not enough information given to solve but good luck buddy.

∙ 14y agoAlthough there can be other reasons one of the most common reasons for what is commonly referred to as The Blue Screen of Death or BSOD as it is seen abbreviated on many technical forums is that the system has a driver conflict.
Much of the time when a system crashes on the BSOD it will give one or more error codes that can be helpful in diagnosing the current issue.
If your system boots to the blue screen you can try using an operating system install disk (or other media if it is stored on such and have your serial number handy to be able to complete the reinstall/fix)zperiodz
If your computer will not turn on at all you may have something else going on such as hardware (power supply for instance) failure as a culprit.
