There is no such thing as a "millibyte". It's called a megabyte and there is 1024 megabyte(mb) in a gigabyte.

Using based binary sizes, not decimal (which is what the boxes for HDs and such use).

1 Gigabyte = 1,073,741,824 bytes

1 Millibyte = 0.0009765625 = 1/1024 = 2^-10 bytes

I think you must mean megabytes, which is abbreviated MB. Search for the question "How many megabytes are in a gigabyte?"

This is because bytes (in almost all cases) mean 8 bits. A bit is either a 0 or a 1. You can not have a partial bit. So the least number of millibytes that it is ever possible to have is 1000/8=125.

1 Megabyte = 1024 Kilobytes;

There are 8 bits in one byte.

There is no smaller amount of data then one bit.
