My hard disks crashed three times & there are few reasons responsible for Hard Disk crash.
1. If You are not using UPS & there is power failure.
2. Use of IDE or SATA hard Disk as portable device, because you may mishandle it also.
3. Lose power connection which sometimes leads to sparking.
4. If the hard disk experiences excessive shocks during mishandling, etc.
5. Other reasons are, Kernel virus & use of wrong operating system.
6. If the motor in the hard disk is having some problem. The motors that cause the hard disk to spin may fail to work, or the belts may break.
7. Due to age or excessive use. Hard drives are driven by mechanical parts, and all parts will wear with age.

because its not emnt for that certain computer.
A piece of dirt or a flaking of the magnetic coating. Also if for some reason the read/write head comes into contact with the platter surface.
Age, heat, impact. Most fail at startup.
A virus.
your computer will crash and you will be without a computer sux to be you hahaha
head crash
A head crash is a type of hard disk failure that occurs when a read/write head touches the fast spinning disk platters. It is very catastrophic - it can destroy lots of data - even the data needed to start an operating system can be destroyed.
hard drive head crash
Because unused files accumulate space on hard disk and also causes fragmentation of hard disk.
any eye and butt will explode
the logical choices is:: MAY BE YOUR DISK IS DAMAGED; SYSTEM MALFUNCTION; AND INVALID HARD DRIVE
Disk compression on commonly-accessed files Files on the hard disk are too fragmented The computer has a virus
In a hard disk the heads fly above the surface on a thin cushion of air, to prevent wear to the disk or heads. Should something cause the heads to touch the moving disk surface it is called a "head crash" and is not all that different from an airplane crash, as the heads quit flying on their cushion of air.
Repair? No. The disk is done. However, there are some companies that can often pull a lot of the data off the drive for you. It's expensive though.
frequent defragmenting and constant error checks using the various window tools available
A computer hard disk or hard drive (fixed disk) is hardware.
