I don't believe so, as long as she seems healthy to you. If she seems insecure about her body, reassure her, make sure she believes in herself before she starts exercising. For a child to exercise it's a good idea to make it fun so she'll be healthy and enjoy herself. When I was younger I was considered overweight but I turned it all around and I'm now a gymnastics instructor. If I could turn my life around she can too
