i think it's meant to be NO4 3- .. an ion because it's NO2 - and NO3 2-
but then i don't know how they're actually bonded! i guess there's deffo one dative bond between N and O and then either 3 dot cross ones ..or another dative from n to o and one from an o to n and one dot cross! but i expect it's three dot crosses and one dative! because it's more even.. probs.
guut luck anyway :D i think it's meant to be NO4 3- .. an ion because it's NO2 - and NO3 2-

The electron dot diagram for xenon would show the symbol Xe surrounded by eight dots, representing the eight valence electrons xenon has in its outer shell. This configuration allows xenon to fulfill the octet rule and be stable.
"The electron dot diagram is used by scientists to represent electron sharing. The chemical symbol is in the center to represent the nucleus and inner energy level. Dots surrounding the symbol represents the valence electrons." that is the electron dot Diagram.. Sorry, i cant do more than that....
The elements that have 5 electrons in the dot diagram means that they have 5 valence electrons. These elements are found in group 5A. Elements include, nitrogen, phosphorus, arsenic, antimony, and bismuth.
I had a science question that asked: An electron ______ is the chemical symbol for the element surrounded by as many dots as there are electrons in its outer energy level. That is pretty much the same as yours. I put dot diagram... Meaning electron dot diagram
It is K with one dot so: K . The reasoning behind this is that you put the highest energy level on the dot notation. Electron Configuration notation for Potassium is: 1s2; 2s2, 2p6; 3s2, 3p6, 4s1. It is also in the third row, so that is why it moves up to the fourth energy level.
An electron dot diagram, also known as Lewis dot diagram, uses dots to represent the valence electrons of an atom.
1. An electron dot diagram can show you that the symbols for an element surrounded by dots. Each dot stands for one valence electron.
There are two types of diagrams one is the Lewis diagram the other is the Electron dot diagram. To make the electron dot diagram you put the electron symbol and put a dot on one of the sides for each period (you don't count the middle section.) . . :Ne: = Neon dot diagram ' '

A synonym for Lewis diagram is Lewis structure. It is a schematic representation of the bonding between atoms in a molecule and the arrangement of valence electrons around atoms.
In a dot and cross diagram for sodium oxide (Na2O), you would represent two sodium (Na) atoms each donating one electron to an oxygen (O) atom, which accepts the two electrons to achieve a stable octet configuration. This sharing of electrons results in the formation of ionic bonds between the sodium cations and oxide anions, leading to the compound having the formula Na2O.

You can find a correct electron dot diagram for aluminum (Al) by representing the symbol "Al" surrounded by three dots, one on each side. This represents the three valence electrons in Al's outer shell.
Chlorine has 7 dots in its electron dot diagram, representing its 7 valence electrons.
