Many sixth graders have lockers. Many middle schools utilize lockers for students books and other personal belongings. If lockers are not available, students usually have desks and closets for storing school supplies and other belongings.

Not all 5th graders.it all depends on the school and if they have lockers.if not that means you would have to use a bag Instead...
Our school is considering having fifth graders move into our middle school. What are the pros and cons of this move?
Well the pros are that now they can experience a lot of the things that they need to experience so that they can be ready for the rest of middle school, but the cons are that they probably won't be mature enough to really handle some of the changes. If they don't let sixth graders do some of the things at middle schools, they definitely won't be letting the fifth graders do it. They probably won't let them, or will split it and make 2 middle schools. one for 5th and 6th, and one for 7th and 8th. 5th graders in my opinion though, probably can't handle middle school when they are still 5th graders.

When do kids start using lockers?
At my school, kids have lockers in their classrooms in 4th and 5th Grade, and then in 6th through 8th grade you get lockers in the hallway. i live in England and we don't have lockers :(
At what time does the average school start?
At my elementary school, it started at 7:30 and ended at 2:15.At my middle School, it started at 8:30 and ended at 3:05, students usually arrived early at the Middle School. Some times are different depending on your school and/or school district, or even your state. We have no way of telling exactly what time school starts. School, lasts for 6, 7 or even 8 hours. In my school it lasts for 7 hours. For elementary school, most schools hold grades: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th. My middle school holds 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th. It depends on if the elementary school you are attending has enough room for 5th graders, the elementary school I was going to, had to kick the 5th graders out 4 or 3 years ago after the school year had ended. They did not have rooms for all of the 5th graders to learn in.
Why is middle school bullying an issue?
You put a bunch of enormous eight graders who are in their growth spurt, and little fifth graders. SO why does everyone wonder WHY bullying is a problem in middle school. It is easy for the big 8th grader to push around the little 5th or 6th grader, because the 5th or 6th grader is too scared to stand up for themselves.

Yes the middle school 5th graders have kempo, 6th grades have kickboxing or normal PE and 7th and up has normal PE. In 7th PE is an elective.

That all depends on what school you go to. Most middle schools (they all used to be called Junior High Schools) do have lockers these days; but if, for some reason, yours does not, ask your teacher where you are supposed to leave your stuff during the times you are changing classes.
