The best way to convert percentage into marks is by using the formula where they would multiply the GPA. Example: If the GPA is 3.0, then the equivalent percentage equals 3.0 x 18 + 30 = 74 percent.
To convert a fraction to a percentage multiply by 100%: 1/40 = 1/40 x 100 % = 2.5 %
To convert a fraction of a percentage multiply by 100: 2/40 = 2/40 x 100 % = 200/40 % = 5 %
To convert a percentage to a decimal divide by 100: 40 % = 40 ÷ 100 = 0.4

To convert 29 out of 40 to a percentage, you would first divide 29 by 40 to get 0.725. Then, multiply this decimal by 100 to get the percentage, which is 72.5%. So, 29 out of 40 is equal to 72.5% when expressed as a percentage.
28/40 = 0.7, so when you convert 0.7 to a percentage, you get 70%.
