∙ 11y agoYes. Vending machines are an integral part of any institution. You can find them in offices, in shopping malls, everywhere. Then why not at schools too? Kids have so much to do in their day, so many activities to do, it is highly possible for any student to feel hungry at any time of the day. Vending machines in schools provide them with the extra snack option which they can access at any time.
But, putting any vending machine is what should be an issue. Instead of placing vending machines that provide unhealthy and junk food options, schools should provide their students with more healthy options. Vending machines that provide healthy, natural and organic food, snacks and drinks should be the priority in schools.
No, people have obesity because of eating so much. They also get Diabetes.
I would also say yes because it's nice to have a small snack here and there.

∙ 12y agoVending machines can be bad because they sell bad food (normally food considered "junk food") and never sells fresh food. Vending machines are meant to be quick, cheap, and fast snacks. A lot of the time, they sell only soda. Also, on the other side of the argument, there are a lot of good vending machines-for example at the fitness club I've been too, they sell fruit and Gatorade and other energy foods. So try to see both sides and decide what you truly think-remember: what makes something healthy or unhealthy is the choices you make.
