Mendeleyev left gaps in his Periodic Table because there weren't as many elements back in that time, and so he had to leave gaps for the elements that weren't discovered yet. He predicted that scientists would find out more elements in the future, and his predictions were right.
Because those elements were not known when he formulated his periodic table.

Mendeleev's published the periodic table in 1869.
Mendeleev left out the noble gases (Group 18) from his periodic table because they were not discovered yet at the time he developed the table. These elements were later added to the periodic table as they were discovered.
Dmitri Mendeleev first periodic table is called Mendeleev's periodic table. Elements are arranged according to atomic mass.

the Periodic Table.
Dmitri Mendeleev is considered the father of the periodic table. He created the first widely accepted version of the periodic table in 1869, arranging elements based on their properties and atomic weights. Mendeleev's table laid the groundwork for the modern periodic table.
Hydrogen is the first chemical element in the Periodic Table of Mendeleev.
