Well, I guess u don't need friends, but their someone to turn to. Someone to trust. Sure, they will back stab, but good friends don't. Humans crave the need to be social. If a human were alone in the world, they would turn crazy! So I guess that's why u need friends.

∙ 12y agoWe have friends because if we didn't then everybody would be walking around doing nothing, looking for somebody to play or talk with. Friends are our social peers outside the family: the people we work with or go to school with.
