pipe earthing is done outside the tower, a hole of required diameter and depth is excavated and a pipe filled with coke and salt is put inside that hole which will be connected to the earth strip eventually connecting to the foot of the tower.
The other method of tower earthing is counterpoise in which galvanised strip of wires is connected to the foot of the tower and is being earthed to a depth at some distance.

In plate earthing we make chamber whose depth should be app. 2.5 to 3 mtr and dia should be app. 600 mm(as per plate size).we insert a cu/GI plate as per required size (app. 600x600x3/5) and two cu/GI strip should be attached vertically with this plate which should be properly bolted.Among these strips we fixed a GI pipe whose dia. app. 2.5"placed centrally for filling water. Then fill salt,
coal and soil in this chamber.
Finally make a flap on this chamber for protection and maintenance work
the wire comes from 3metre deapth from the ground is called earthing.
the wire comes from the plate to the ground
Assuming your reference to "earthing" is grounding (Grounding Electrode Conductor), a pipe is, as it sounds, a pipe (i.e. water pipe). A plate would be, as it sounds, a square (or rectangular) copper plate which would be buried in the ground.
An earthing boss and earthing lug are parts of a grounding connection. An earthing boss is in a casting that allows for the drilling and tapping of hole. A earthing lug is used to bond a wire to the ground.
The conventional earth is the use of a copper rod and plate driven into the earth. In dry areas this may be not sufficient to make a good earth and chemical systems are available. Chemical earths use a more resistant material to copper in the form of a tube packed with chemicals. These earths are more for the use of lightning conduction rather than electrical safety earth.Very popular in India.

Four number earthing are essential for installation of transformer as under : 1) Two earthing for transformer body. 2) Two earthing for Neutral Point. Note : Numbers of earthing may be increase as per the client requirement.
Chemical Earthing and Conventional Earthing are different types of earthing techniques. Conventional Earthing is based on plate earthing and pipe type earthing but Chemical Earthing on GI or Copper.

Electrical earthing is classified into many types as Neutral earthing Body earthing Pipe earthing Plate earthing Chemical earthing Ground Compound Earthing
A plate electrode can be installed at a minimum of 24 inches (600mm).

System Earthing is the earthing associated with current carrying conductor & is essential for the security of the system. Equipment Earthing is the earthing associated with non-current carrying metal work & is essential for the security of human life and property.
only earthing can not be measure. Anyone can only measures the voltage and the current with respect to the earthing .Thus it is impossible to measure the earthing.

it is also same as earthing lugs, there is no differenence earthing lugs ang lugs earthings.
