What happens at the end of ouke no monshou?

Unfortunately, the writer never finish the manga. He left the ending for his daughter to finish it, however, she never gets to it. So THERE IS NO ENDING. The ending that “Ryan is adopted and yaddy yaddy yaddy”, all of these are from fans who waited for over 30 years for the ending, they made it all up. People asked me ”Seriously?” Well…”Yes I am serious about the answer.” When I was in my early 20s, I tried finding out what happed to this manga, and found the little article about the writer will leave this manga‘s ending to up to his daughter. I wish I kept the article, but…

I read this manga since I was 10, now I am 50ish :( I wished too that, there is an ending which is originally comes from the writer himself or his daughter. Btw I also read Red Sea, Candy Candy, and Lady Georgia when I was 10-15 yo, those are also good mangas.

my freind said:"Memphis defeats the enemies ( Hittite, Assyria, Babylonia ) and return with his victorious army back to Egypt . There he finds Carol waiting for him with their baby son . They are of course happy to see each other again and to be together . Carol cries and hugs Memphis.

After that , they throw a party to celebrate. Everybody is glad and laughing. What they don't know is the fact that Luca, Carol's trusty bodyguard, is seeking revenge for his real master, prince Ishmin of Hittite ( since Memphis killed him ). Luca poisoned the Memphis with an unable-to-cure potion ( or powder, whichever is fine ) . Then he want to stab Carol, so that she would die with prince Ishmin as well, the person who has loved her so much. But Memphis protected Carol and takes the blade for himself . The Egyptian King cannot survive from both the poison and the wound .

Carol is absolutely lost after the King's death. Her mind is blank the whole time, she doesn't bother to eat anything . She can only think about him ( the love of one's life, what else can one feels) . She decides to give the responsible of raising her son to the prime minister Imphotep and drown herself inside the Nile, back to where she comes from, because she doesn't have any reason to stay, without Memphis.

Back to the present , Carol is found and goes back to her family . She accepted the proposal of Abmando Rapman, the young millionaire, not remember anything but the figure of a man with long black hair and a white coat in her dream .

Raian found the stolen thing from tomb. He then touches the mummy of Memphis . It turns out that he is actually Memphis's reincarnation . All the memory from the past suddenly comes to him. He loves Carol, but he feels horrible that she is his sister now, so he says he will stay away from her forever , in order to let Carol has a happy life . He left some letter about he going to France. However , Carol finds the letter and chase after him, asking why can't he say a proper goodbye .They are attacked by the thieves ( who stole things from Raian before) . Carol, who remembers about how Memphis died at that time, covers for Raian and is stabbed instead .

In the hospital , Carol is unconcious, loosing blood, is in critical condition. Raian offers his blood for her. The doctor discovers that his blood type does not match the rest of the Lido family. Here comes the truth, Raian was adopted by the Lido, when they found him as a baby in front of some tomb .

Carol regains her conciousness , fully recover her memory about Memphis. Raian tells her everything , also about how Memphis said he would reincarnate to be with her again . The couple can finally be together . After that , they get married ( actually Raian just gives Carol the wedding ring, but it's the same)

Last part , back to the Egyptian Empire, a young Pharaoh returns with his army from victory, winning the battle with Hittite. Unus ( a middle-age general ) greets him. The young man holds his sword high ( the one he inherited from his father) , proud to be the son of the Pharaoh Memphis and the Daughter of the Nile."and i think so too
