Not a 'willy willy' is a whirlwind - similar to but NOT the same as a Tornado. whirlwinds and tornadoes are NOT hurricanes, cyclones or typhoons.

Hurricanes, Cyclones and Typhoons are weather systems hundreds of miles across (tropical storms). Tornadoes are structures formed within just one cloud. Whirlwinds are not associated with clouds at all, they result from processes happening on the surface of the ground and again are small.
