The hallmarks of a healthy relationship are: *Mutual respect *Honesty *Trust These three characteristics are very closely linked. For example, one doesn't find trust without honesty, and dishonesty is an obvious sign of contempt for the other person. These hallmarks apply to ALL sound relationships, not only to intimate relationships. Imagine, for example, a close co-worker that you can't respect, who is dishonest and can't be trusted. At the very core of sound relationships lies at least an average level of self-esteem. Those who lack self-esteem have enormous problems respecting others. The key is soundly based self-respect. Love, friendship, trust, companionship Communication is also big on the list. I find not only in relationships, but the business world that communication can be 99% of the problems that are not necessary.

Well, there are no perfect relationships, if someone says that they are lying. All relationships have ups and downs, the healthy ones work through their problems, no matter how long, to the satisfaction of both people, there is no violence or belittling, you help each other out, when needed or asked for, you give space, too. You do nice things for one another and have compassion, consideration and caring in all the dealings that you do together for one another. You dont have to spend money on someone to show them that you care, remember, its the little things that count.

iA healthy relationship is when two people love and respect each other. Their is no secrets, physical, mental, or emotional abuse. The relationship should be a friendship on fire torwards marriage. their will be disagreements it all about how you work them out, your partner should be your best friend and boyfriend. Trust and loyalty go hand in hand also.

Don't spend too much time with your significant other. Make sure you have time for your other friends and especially your family. Don't let them tell you what you can and can't do, or who you can and can't see. Obviously physical abuse is NOT okay at all! Calling you degrading names constantly is not okay either.

A healthy relationship has it's ups and downs. Don't be afraid to disagree with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Make sure overall, you are happy. If you feel like you aren't happy, most likely it's not a healthy relationship.

It depends on what relationship you would like to be in. Some would like to just spend alot of time together, holding hands, trips out to cinema and shiz.

Others choose to mainly just text each other, talk over facebook and go out on 'dates' in big groups. Just because thats where they feel comfortable.

My take on a positive relationship is, going to places in groups but also spending some quality time just you and him/her. Texting each other and keeping in as much contact as possible. Positive relationships arn't just physical :)

Hope this helps.

Some relationships exist for the wrong reasons and often with age, experience and wisdom comes a deeper understanding of what a healthy relationship actually is. People must often go through many ups, downs and often a few relationships before they understand what a good relationship should be. A healthy relationship is not based solely on sex, money or to fend off loneliness. A truly healthy relationship consists of mutual respect, communication and the ability to accept the other person as they are.
