• When someone says 'right back at you' after you told them you loved them it means he loves you too. If you have ever seen the movie 'Ghost' with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore he would say 'ditto' when she told him he loved her which meant he loved her just as much.

it all depends on the situation. he could of said it and really meant it, like he loves you but in other words. he may be scared or intimidated if you were the one who said it first. or maybe and i hope this isn't the answer but he may not love you back.

it means that he loves you and he's been wanting to tell you that for quite some time, so when you say you love him, the reply is quick, to show no hesitation on his feelings :)

but if you just met him or you barely know him, there's a possibility that he's just faking it and lying to you, by just telling you what he thinks you wanna hear. there's a lot of reasons why he could do this, which is because he does not want you to hate him if he rejects your love, or he wants to get to somewhere quickly in this relationship, as example, by saying that, it makes you fall for him, and he could get a chance of getting into bed with you. so be careful and be wise :)
