Bananas are full of potassium and, unfortunately, carbohydrates. Carbs are not good for losing weight but berries, such as blueberries, strawberries and raspberries are much lower in carbs. They are a better choice for weight loss.

∙ 13y agoBananas are great for dieting. They provide a good source of "good" carbs, and potassium. When you're on a diet, the main concern should be your carbohydrate intake. The lower your carb intake, the more weight you'll lose basically, but you NEED carbs. So, you need to figure out how many carbs you normally eat and keep cutting back. Bananas are the perfect food for after a workout and for part of a breakfast. They have about 23-27 carbs.
