A Langar Hall is an open hall positioned with all Sikh Gurdwara's where Langar (free vegetarian food) is served. The Sikhs have to sit on the carpeted floor in straight lines which is called "pentaa" as a sign that everyone is equal before God and that no one has a higher or lower status in Waheguru's domain.

Langar Khana or Langar-Ghar
The people who worship in the gurdwara prepare the langar.
Langar has always been served while sitting on a matted floor. No one is allowed to sit any different from any other while in Langar. Hence, no one irrespective of any age, color, race, religion, gender, or whatsoever is differentiated from any other. Further more, since ground itself is leveled, sitting in one row only represent equality.

If a single malt is to be fully appreciated it should not be served with water, ice or soft drinks. If soft drinks are mixed in, then there is no reason to use an expensive single malt. Any cheap blend will do.
