So, 350 divide by 8 equals 43 . 75 large pizzas . Remember that the statistic is citing 350 slices per second . So, every minute, in the United States of America , 21,000 slices of pizza are consumed ; in every hour 1, 260,000 slices , and in every day, 30,240,000 ( Thirty million , two hundred forty thousand ) slices of pizza , or 3, 780, 000 ( Three million, seven hundred thousand ) eight-sliced pizzas are consumed .
